High in the hills of the Guji Zone’s Hambella district, the Alaka kebele produces some of Ethiopia’s most expressive coffees. Here, at 1,900–2,100 meters above sea level, cherries are hand-selected at their ripest and naturally dried on raised beds. The result? A cup brimming with tropical fruit, vibrant acidity, and the unmistakable vibrance of its origin. We love this coffee black on espresso or as a juicy pourover.
