Our latest classic Brazilian coffee comes from the Minas Gerais region. Located in Carmo da Cachoeira, Sul de Minas, Fazenda do Salto is run by fifth-generation farmer Otávio Reis, continuing a family coffee-growing legacy spanning over 100 years. At 1,150 metres, the 800-hectare farm grows a diverse range of varieties, including this Yellow Bourbon. Otávio tailors production to each plot, terroir and variety, producing distinctive coffees from this classic Brazilian landscape.
Once harvested, the coffee cherries are naturally processed giving the coffee its classic Brazilian sweetness. Expect rich dark chocolate notes, with a caramelised nutty finish. We roast these beans medium giving a smooth and balanced coffee which we love on espresso!
