Cupping Notes : Chocolate, Hazelnut & Mango

From Minas Gerais in Brazil, this coffee is grown by Danilo Andrade. Coming from a family of coffee growers in the city of Três Pontas, he learnt about coffee production from a very young age before starting his career in the fertiliser industry, eventually owning and operating his own company for many years. In 2017, he sold the business to pursue his passion for agriculture, acquiring Terra Nova Farm. His commitment to specialty coffee deepened in 2022 with the purchase of Zaroca Farm, renowned for its exceptionally high quality coffee. Today, Danilo focuses on producing outstanding coffees, such as this one,  and is widely respected in the region for his dedication to sustainable farm management, productivity and quality.

Once harvested, the coffee cherries are naturally processed giving the coffee its classic Brazilian sweetness. Expect a juicy burst of mango and tropical sweetness layered over creamy, rich chocolate, with a delicate hazelnut note that adds warmth and complexity through the finish. We roast these beans medium giving a smooth and balanced coffee which we love on espresso!
