Cupping Notes : Milk Chocolate, Caramel & Hazelnut

The Cocatrel Cooperative was founded in 1961 in Tres Pontas and has now grown to the second largest Cooperative in Brazil. Castanhas do Brazil which translates as "Nuts of Brazil" is a blend made up mainly from one particular area called Carmo De Cachoeira. Grown at altitudes between 900 and 1,300 metres above sea level, these Arabica beans are naturally processed allowing the coffee’s inherent sweetness to fully develop resulting in a sweet and creamy hazelnut praline profile in the cup.

We roast these beans medium giving a smooth and balanced coffee which we love on espresso!
